It was a glorious day to bring Martin's 880 mile adventure
to an end. Close to 50 people were on hand at the doorstep
of Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Zion, IL to welcome
Martin and congratulate him on the work he has accomplished
for cancer research. At the end of the run, Martin
had raised a total
of $80,687 for Cancer Treatment Research Foundation.
Welcoming Martin, were CTCA Chairman and Founder, Richard
J Stephenson; CTCA CEO, Steve Bonner, and other members of
the hospital's Board of Directors, staff, and patients, as
well as CTRF representatives.
After Martin's arrival, he was invited to visit with the
Board, enjoy a delicious lunch in the hospital cafeteria
and take a tour of the hospital.
Martin is planning to perform a short program for the hospital
patients and staff the following day. Martin remarked that
he has no idea what he is going to do next.
