Chicago style block party (top & middle photo): the fire
department sends a crew to your street. The hydrant is opened;
little and big kids are joyfully drenched. There is a never-
ending supply of food. That is OK--I will run it off tomorrow.
We are at the northernmost extreme of the Chicago city limit,
near but not in Evanston, so block parties are allowed and fire
engines are not given parking tickets.
Scott Hooson and I take to the road once again tomorrow. Relax
those hands, swing those arms,head up, heel before toe...
